Leg Cast Cover FAQs
What types of leg casts does this cover fit?
Our standard size leg cast covers fit short leg casts (below the knee). For long leg casts, ankle casts, and full leg casts use our custom sizing option and included your length, top width, and bottom width measurements. All covers include the open toe style which accommodates most standard cast configurations.
How do I measure for the right size?
For the LENGTH, Starting at the back of the leg, measure the length of your cast from top to the floor, and then around the bottom of the heel to include the sole of the foot of the cast. For the WIDTH, (measure the circumference at the widest point (usually the calf), the top of the cast, and at the toe end of the cast. Standard sizes are available for Child and Adult. For anything outside standard dimensions, choose Custom and enter your measurements. See the sizing chart below for guidance.
Will the cover stay up on its own?
Yes — the stretchy fabric grips the cast and holds the cover in place during normal daily activity. The top edge is designed to sit snugly without digging in or sliding down. We suggest tucking the top end into the cast to more securely anchor the cover in place.
Can I wear this to work, school, or a special event?
Absolutely. Our leg cast covers are available in 70+ patterns including professional neutrals, dressy metallics, and fun prints. They transform the look of a clinical cast into a deliberate style choice — perfect for any setting from the office to a wedding.
Is this cover waterproof?
No — our fabric covers are not waterproof and should be removed before showering or bathing. Always follow your physician's instructions for keeping your cast dry.
How do I care for my leg cast cover?
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and lay flat to dry. Do not use chlorine bleach or tumble dry. We recommend having 2–3 covers to rotate while one is drying.
Are custom sizes refundable?
